Nicolae Arnaut

Nicolae graduated from Moldova State University, Faculty of International Relations and Political Sciences, took MBA at the Academy of Economic Studies. Besides, he obtained a diploma in European Interdisciplinary Studies from the College of Europe. He gained professional experience in private sector – finance industry and consulting, as well as in public administration. The areas of his interest are European Neighbourhood Policy and EU Policy.

Darina Dvornichenko

Darina graduated from the International Relations Department, Odesa I. Mechnikov National University. She holds a PhD in Political Science and is an associate professor of the National University “Odesa Maritime Academy”. She’s a co-founder of the NGO “Agents of Change!” which deals with non-formal education. Areas of research interest: International Relations, European Integration, Media Literacy.

Olena Bazylivska

Olena is an expert in Constitutional law. She completed an Erasmus+ Master Program in parliamentary procedures and legislative drafting in Rome, Madrid, and London. She is a co-organizer of “March in the embroidered shirts” in Kyiv. One of the things that she likes the most is travelling by means of hitchhiking and couchsurfing. She believes that it helps to see countries from the inside.

Orest Boichuk

Orest is a PhD student, studying International Relations. He works as a teacher and researcher at Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University. The sphere of his scientific interests: world politics, international relations theory, Polish-German and Polish-Ukrainian relations, policy of historical memory, Foreign Policy of the EU and USA. His hobby is travelling.

Viktoria Boiko

Viktoria is a senior research fellow at the National Institute for Strategic Studies. Viktoria studied International Relations at the Estonian School of Diplomacy, and the EU Law and Economic Integration at the College of Europe. Her expertise is focused on human and civil rights, privacy and data protection, internet governance, and ethical, political, cyber security and transnational security, as well as the international legal implications of algorithmic decision-making processes.
She enjoys travelling, immersion in nature, meeting with people of different cultures, and holding discussions on strategic challenges.

Uliana Filon

Uliana is a legal and financial translator acting as an individual entrepreneur. For the last six years, she has been cooperating with non-governmental organisations.
Since 2017, she has been participating in the EU Project “Support to the implementation of the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement” (“Association4U”) as an Associate Translation Fellow. She has been working on legal approximation of the Ukrainian laws to the EU laws. She is interested in law (including the EU law) and entrepreneurship (including social entrepreneurship). Her hobby is swimming.

Liliana Filipchuk

Liliana works as an analyst for the CEDOS think-tank in Kyiv, dealing with qualitative and quantitative research in the areas of migration and education. She has experience in projects implementation with international organizations such as the United Nations Development Program and IREX. Liliana is developing the R-Ladies community for gender diversity among those who analyze data in the R software environment.

Bohdan Ben

Bohdan is a researcher in the field of social and ethical philosophy and in the field of local governance. He was among the winners of the program “Youth will change Ukraine” organized by Bohdan Hawrylyshyn Foundation. Together with his friends, he started the project “In the Land of Hope” intended to facilitate and promote local initiatives that strive for social and ecological sustainability.

Hanna Veres

Hanna works as a Project Manager at NGO “Society Initiatives Institute”, serving the society by organizing the respective projects. Hanna’s main activity is to moderate, organize and evaluate the life of 5 foreign volunteers who came to work in Ukraine in the coming year. She believes the time which is not spent in vain is the biggest goal of her everyday life.

Daminika Hulak

Daminika is an education activist and a PhD student. She holds a Master’s degree in literature studies. She studies American literature in a multicultural context and works for an NGO dealing with education promotion and prevention of crime among youth in Belarus. Daminika is also an alumna of the International Parliament Scholarship of the German Bundestag.

Alisa Jamayan

Alisa is a young researcher at Yerevan State University. This year she has graduated from the School of Liberal Politics, which has had a great influence on her liberal thinking. She is interested in the EU-Armenia relations, human rights, migration policies, democracy-building processes and political and public issues, especially the ones related to her country.
She worked for the Economic Research and Development Support Centre NGO and GIZ Armenia, which shaped her future as a young activist. Currently, she is a facilitator/tutor at various trainings and seminars on human rights issues. Besides, she is a Young European Ambassador in Armenia and a student at the Legal Approximation Laboratory.

Olga Matveieva

Olga holds a PhD in public administration and works as an associated professor at Dnipropetrovsk Regional Institute for Public Administration of the NAPA under the President of Ukraine. Her education and professional experience are focused on public administration, its social and economic background. The main scope of her professional interests includes a wide range of sustainable development concepts and practical issues within the framework of SDGs achieved by Ukrainian government and civil society.
Her objective is to contribute to the Ukrainian reformation process by supporting scientific initiatives of youth in Dnipropetrovsk region, providing the implementation of projects on local sustainable development.

Ievgeniia Lebid

Ievgeniia has a Master degree in Sociology (Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv) and MA in Eastern European Studies from the University of Warsaw. She did a scientific internship at the University of Warsaw and gained experience in tutoring school “Buki”. The areas of her interest are democratic values, social changes, international relations, formal and non-formal education instruments. Her goals are to set up and support socially-oriented small business and to find a job in international company dealing with social or political affairs. Hobbies: sport, travelling, and cookery.

Andrii Levchenko

Having obtained his Ph.D. in Philosophy in 2013, Andrii is an Associate Professor at the Department of Philosophy and Political Sciences at Khmelnytskyi National University. He is a Senior Manager at the NGO “Youth for Global Progress”, being a coordinator of international projects, responsible for cooperation with local authorities, monitoring and assessing strategic development and assisting with advocacy meetings. His research interests include gender equality, youth participation in decision-making processes, and civil society development.

Vasil Navumau

Vasil received his PhD from the Institute of Philosophy and Sociology at the Polish Academy of Sciences. He is a postdoc researcher at Uppsala Institute for Russian and Eurasian Studies (IRES) and an editor of Belarusian web-based journal e-gov.by, devoted to discussion and popularization of ideas in the sphere of public sector innovation, e-government formation and e-participation enhancement in Belarus. His research interests focus on the ways new ICTs influence the transformation of discourse, repertoire and scope of social movements and the ways they can contribute to the formation of more transparent, participative and inclusive government.

Kateryna Nekit

Kateryna has a PhD in Law and works as an Associate Professor at Odessa Law Academy. She investigates human rights, in particular, the right to private property in the framework of digital technologies development and other issues related to digitalization.
She is also a project coordinator in an informal student organization “Odessa Law Academy Legal Hackers Students Club”, the objective of which is to create a community of lawyers, able to use innovative methods of learning and working. Her interests are focused on the development of civil society and gender equality.

Taras Fostiak

Taras is a PhD student at Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. His main research area is philosophy with a particular focus on axiology and ethics. He works in the sector of culture and contemporary arts.

Denys Rybachok

Denys works as an analyst in a non-governmental organization. He has a master’s degree in political science. The areas of his interest are ideologies, elections and development of political parties. Denys likes philosophy and is keen on sport.

Myroslava Kaletnyk

Myroslava holds a Master degree in Public Management from the School of Public Management, Ukrainian Catholic University. She works as a communication manager in the Reform Support Team of Economic and Trade. The sphere of her scientific interests is political science. Her hobbies are cinema and photography.

Katerina Sergeeva

Katerina is a public relations specialist working for a business law firm. She has an MA degree in American Studies from the Eberhard Karls Univesity of Tübingen. Her interests include parliamentary diplomacy, e-governance and sustainable development.

Yuliia Simonova

Yuliia got her Master’s degree in Foreign Politics and International Relations, but found passion for charity activities and arts. Currently, she is the leader of arts projects in Zagoriy Family Foundation working on promoting managerial methods in cultural projects and art curatorship in Ukraine. Yuliia loves expressionism, among her favourite artists are Egon Schiele, Edvard Munch, Ernst Ludwig Kirchne and others.

Daria Pushkarova

Daria is an expert in the Ukrainian Cultural Foundation. She is also a co-founder of the first Ukrainian-language private musical theatre in Odessa and sometimes writes her blog on the censor.net. She has been working in the cultural sector for more than 10 years by now. She gained experience in organising cultural events, launching a restaurant, administering a theatre festival and a cultural centre.

Mariia Ushakova

Mariia is a PhD Student in Public Administration. Mariia has experience of working with the EU international projects that have provided line ministries with technical assistance in implementing the EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. Mariia is a civic-minded person involved in active scientific and social life of Ukraine.

Iryna Supruniuk

Iryna works for the project Democracy Study Centre. She has a degree in History from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. The range of her interests includes history, development of modern society and development of social entrepreneurship. Iryna likes archaeology and travelling.

Liudmyla Nikitina

Liudmyla is an economist, the Head of the NGO “Living Library” and a Young European Ambassador in the ‘EU NEIGHBOURS east’ project. Her professional interests include culture management, non-formal education and development of social entrepreneurship.
She organizes and takes part in the implementation of such projects like Human library, Day of the Music, Festival of social initiatives Plan B, and Eurobus in Kharkiv. Her goal is to create better conditions to ensure equal opportunities for the development of young people.

Nataliia Maloholovko

Nataliia is working in the sphere of gender equality and gender budgeting. She is an expert in international technical assistance projects in Ukraine. Main areas of her expertise are women in labor and gender gaps in labor market of Ukraine.
Besides, in her spare time Nataliia delivers trainings on soft skills, namely, on personal efficiency and emotional intelligence, stress overcoming and interpersonal conflicts management.

Iryna Sheremeta

Iryna works for the Ukrainian-German project Kyiv Dialogue at the International Renaissance Foundation; she also works as a volunteer for TEDxKyiv. She did a master’s degree in political science in a double-degree program at the Friedrich-Schiller University Jena and the National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Previously she completed a course at the Open University of Reforms, the Higher Political School, participated in the World Model of United Nations, and was a President of the local branch of European Youth NGO AEGEE. Sometimes she calls herself a pathological optimist as she truly believes that we can change the world for better even with some small social project.

Natalia Zubchenko

Natalia graduated from the Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, Institute of International Relations, area of specialization: International organizations and diplomatic service. She also studied at the MA Program in the Centre for East European Studies, University of Warsaw, area of specialization: Russia, Eastern Europe. Participated in the Lane Kirkland Scholarship Program of the Polish-American Freedom Foundation. Worked for the Directorate General for Worldwide Ukrainians, Cultural and Humanitarian Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. Currently she is an Executive Director of the International Centre for Black Sea-Baltic Studies and Consensus Practices.

Olena Pototska

Olena Pototska is a co-founder of the NGO “Verkhovyna – the Carpathian Flower” and Peer-leader International Verkhovyna project (non-formal education for teenagers and youth). She is interested in the empowerment of youth and women. Her goal is to help young people to see and open up their opportunities for self-realization and deserved quality of living in Verkhovyna and throughout Ukraine, to spread the idea of peer leadership on a nationwide scale.

Anastasia Kostyna

Anastasia is a Social Work Specialist. She has been working in social sphere for over five years. The areas of her interest are psychology, social changes, and new education instruments. Anastasia likes travelling and cookery.

Victoria Saliuta

Victoria is a social educator. She graduated from the Humanities and Pedagogical Institute. Victoria works with orphans or children deprived of parental care. The range of her interests is sociology and pre-school pedagogy. Her hobbies are cinema and travelling.
